Learn more about restoring projects and coral gardening at one of the 3 biggest coral gardening projects in the Dominican Republic. The planting of these artificial reefs to actively progress marine life began in 2016. Our team will also educate everyone on the importance of coral gardening, micro fragmentation, fry catchment structures, artificial reefs, surveillance, and monitoring of the marine ecosystems.
Upon arrival, our Marine Biologist will explain you the important details of our project in an open discussion ambiance. You will be able to ask any questions before boarding the catamaran.
Our crew will take you snorkeling to the protected coral area where you will be able to explore and visualize all the structures built for the restoration of the corals.
You will have 1 full hour to swim around and enjoy the view of a variety of beautiful fish who have made the coral structures their home. Our crew will give step by step instructions on how to use the snorkel gear and will assist those in need in the water.
The second stop is the natural pool where you will have the opportunity to snorkel again in a shallower environment with artificial reefs and structures. The floating kitchen will bring you and your family freshly grilled lunch right at the natural pool where you can also enjoy the boat slide and the palm trees view to sunbathe and relax.

Navigation towards the reef and sightseeing of turtles: 30 min.

Navigation back to docking area: 30 min.
IMPORTANT: Please note that in order to participate the use of Sunblock is strictly prohibited in order to protect our corals. Coral friendly sunblock is recommended.
